The vessel is the second in the company's series of five tankers prepared for methanol fuel and wind-assisted propulsion.
With wind-assisted propulsion, technologies such as rotor sails, wing sails, and kites are used to harness wind power - not as full propulsion, but as a support system that supplements the vessel's main engine. This reduces fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
