The requirements that apply when you are about to go sailing depend on whether it concerns commercial or recreational sailing. For example, voyages for schools and institutions are commercial voyages, whereas voyages for the members of sailing clubs and associations are recreational voyages.
If you rent out vessels with a driver or take passengers on a sailing, these activities will go under the term commercial sailing.
